The inaugural Caboolture 7s summer football competition is about to get underway and is a perfect way to keep fit over the off-season and for players who just want to have some fun. The 7s competition will be played on our state of the art artificial surface and run as a midweek competition.

 

It will be a 7-a-side Summer football competition played on smaller fields with unlimited interchange.

 

Being the first year of Caboolture 7s, we are starting out by offering competitions for the following age divisions:

 

• U10/U11/U12 Mixed - Monday Nights 6.00, 7.00, 8.00 (Starting 14th October)

• U13/U14/U15 Mixed - Monday Nights 6.00, 7.00, 8.00 (Starting 14th October)

• U16 to Over 45  Mixed - Wednesday Nights 6.30, 7.30 and 8.30 (Starting 16th October)

  • We are able to have 18 teams play each night. 

  • So depending on how many sign up and their ages, will determine how we organise the teams. If we have enough teams in an age group we may make a specific competition for them.

  • Should it not work out this way and we end up with a few dominate teams on paper such as a full BPL Team vs others - this will not be fair and the competition will not be fun for anyone.

  • The aim here is to maintain your fitness and practice your skills. So it may mean that we mix up the teams in male and female, and a few players that are 16-20, a few that are 21-35 and a few that are 36-60 ​(max 10 per side).

  • It will be a great way to form friendships within our club.

 

As this is the inaugural year, once we know more about who wants to play and their ages etc , we will be able to add more divisions, days etc next year.

What to bring on the night

Plastic studded football boots must be worn on the synthetic fields

Caboolture training strip, inc socks, shin pads, shorts and shirt

New players to the club  - socks, shin pads, shorts and shirt.

Water bottle and a big smile.

Fees

Registration fees are per person. 

u10 - u17 = $75

o18+  = $90

No Refunds Available

 

Players without an FFA number for the 2019 season (did not play in the 2019 Football Brisbane Comp)  will also be required to pay a Football QLD social player fee ($27.50 for over 18+ and $13.64 for juniors) to cover insurance etc.

Payment must be made online through the Playfootball website. (Credit card fee of 1.8% additional)

Registration is now open. Register with or without a team. If you have a team organised, please email your receipt to summerfootball@cabooluresportsfc.com.au and include your team name, or the players names you want to play with.

As described above you may be able to play with your preferred team or we may break up all teams to pick new balanced random teams from players of appropriate ages and sexes. (don't stress it will be fun)
